01 — What moves

Everything comes with you.
Nothing left behind.

01 Catalog

Products, variants & media

SKUs, metafields, inventory levels, media, tags, automated and manual collections — all reconciled row-by-row.

02 Customers

Accounts & order history

Accounts, addresses, hashed password re-invites, complete order history, store credit, loyalty balances.

03 Transactions

Orders, refunds & taxes

Historical orders, refunds, fulfillments, tax records — imported and reconciled to the penny.

04 SEO

Equity & redirects

Full URL map, 301 redirects, canonical rewrites, sitemap regen, Search Console parity check post-launch.

05 Content

Pages, blog & media

Pages, blog posts, authors, tags, comments — preserved formatting, rewritten asset paths, nothing lost.

06 Apps

Platform replatform

Every legacy plugin audited — replaced, rebuilt, or removed. You leave bloat behind, not functionality.

Platform-specific guides

Migrating from a specific platform?

Each platform has its own gotchas — plugin parity, SEO mapping, checkout re-auth, pricing models. Jump to the guide that matches your current stack.

02 — How the work runs

Four steps,
on every platform.

The same process whether you're leaving Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix or Squarespace; only the platform's own gotchas change.

  1. 01

    Discovery & data audit

We inventory every product, customer, order and URL, plus the extensions and custom code you rely on. You sign off a written plan before anything moves.

  2. 02

    Storefront build

Your brand, rebuilt as a Shopify theme. Checkout changes use Shopify's supported extension points, and speed targets are set from day one.

  3. 03

    Data & redirects

Products, customers and orders move over and are reconciled. Every old URL gets a 301 to its new home, or a 410 if the product is gone, so the rankings you've earned carry over.

  4. 04

    Rehearsed launch

We rehearse the domain switch on staging, go live in a quiet traffic window with a rollback ready, and watch Search Console for 90 days.

03 — Questions we hear

What people
actually ask.

Will we lose our search rankings?
Not if the redirect map is complete. Every old URL gets a 301 to its new Shopify URL, discontinued products answer 410, the new sitemap goes to Google on launch day, and we watch Search Console for 90 days. Rankings dip after any platform change; with complete redirects, they recover.
How long does a migration take?
A migration typically runs 8–14 weeks; catalog size, integrations and custom checkout logic decide where yours lands. Discovery ends with the dates in writing.
What happens to customer passwords?
Password hashes don't transfer between platforms, so passwords can't move. Customers come over with their accounts, addresses and order history, and set a new password on their first visit. We email them a week before launch and again on the day, so it isn't a surprise.
What happens to our apps and integrations?
Every extension and plugin is audited: replaced by a Shopify app, rebuilt as a Function or custom app, or retired. Custom integrations such as ERP sync, marketplace feeds and 3PL handoffs are rebuilt on Shopify, so we list them all in discovery.
Which platforms do you migrate from?
Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix and Squarespace, plus bespoke platforms. Each of the five has its own guide on this page. One example: we've moved nine BigCommerce stores to Shopify Plus in the last three years.
