Absolutely — editorial Shopify themes are something we specialize in. Big typography, generous whitespace, imagery-forward layouts, thoughtful motion — they all translate cleanly. The result is usually a more refined, faster version of the design you had on Squarespace.
Will my Squarespace blog come over?
Yes. Squarespace's export carries only one blog page and its posts, and their images might not come with them, so we check every post, re-add its images, and copy any other blog's posts across as we bring them into Shopify's blog. We also add redirects from your old Squarespace URLs so your search rankings carry over.
What about Squarespace Member Areas and paywalled content?
Shopify handles this through customer accounts plus tagged content, or through membership apps like Glow or BoldMemberships — it depends on your specific setup. We map your existing member tiers to a Shopify structure during discovery so nobody loses access.
Can I keep my Squarespace domain?
Yes. We can transfer your domain to the registrar you prefer and point it at Shopify on launch day. If you'd rather keep it at Squarespace, we add the records Shopify asks for: A and AAAA records for the root domain and a CNAME for www. Either works.
